Obituary of Mary Marjorie Rawlings

Mary M. Rawlings “Granny”, age 88, of Rockwood, passed away September 29, 2017 at Roane Medical Center.  She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.  Mary worked for the Department of Justus in Washington DC for 36 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert E. Rawlings.

One brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Diane and Sam Mannisi,

Sandy Kring, and Susan and Melvin Bean.

Five grandchildren and spouses: Bobby and Bev Kring, Justin Kring, Mary Jo Kring, Melvin and Ashley Bean, and Michael and Rachel Bean.

Twelve great grandchildren.

And many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Tuesday October 3, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Harriman. The memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Rick McAbee officiating.
